There is an orphanage in the City, perhaps I may be allowed to help?

I'm afraid I have no professional experience with children, though I volunteered at a day care center for awhile. I don't wish to do this for money, merely to use my time for better causes.

Gabriel, perhaps you will not be so disappointed of me now.

Saint Nicholas Day has passed.

I admit I haven't been very nice this year, but today I met an angel who offered me a gift. Perhaps I have been exceptionally good without realizing it.

In the living room of Nina's apartment are baskets of acorns covering every possible surface; on the tables, chairs, sofas and floors. In the middle of the room is one milk container with a plain envelope placed by its side. Inside is a letter written with black ink on plain white paper. This is what it says:

I wish to cherish you plainly
with words yet unsaid
by the tree to the fire
that burns it to ash.

There is absolutely no physical trace of the person who did this.
